ТРАНСФОРМАЦИЯ ВНЕШНЕЙ ПОЛИТИКИ КАТАРА (1995-2021)

Внешняя политика Катара время от времени корректировалась в ответ на изменения международной и региональной ситуации. С 1995 года Катар постепенно переходил к более активному и амбициозному направлению своей внешней политики. Цель статьи — обсудить предпосылки, цели и принципы современной внешней политики Катара, а также основные методы и инструменты, благодаря которым страна стала одним из ключевых игроков в регионе и важным торговоэкономическим центром.
Новая концепция внешней политики Амира Хамада была направлена на вовлечение страны в геополитические процессы и продвижение международной репутации Катара. «Арабская весна» стала переломным моментом в планах Катара по захвату влиятельных позиций в регионе, однако ожидания не оправдались и заставили проводить более осторожную и прагматичную политику по исправлению последствий поддержки исламистских движений. Благодаря конструктивной внешней политике и богатым энергетическим ресурсам Катар смог преодолеть кризис 2017 года и превратить его в возможность снизить политическую и экономическую зависимость от соседних стран.
