About the Journal
Analytical Bulletin of Armenian and Regional Studies (ABARS, Arm. Վերլուծական տեղեկագիր հայագիտության և տարածաշրջանագիտության) is a biannual academic journal dedicated to critically analyzing the social, cultural, religious, and political dynamics of the three seas’ mega-region, i.e. the Mediterranean, Black, and Caspian seas.
Analytical Bulletin aims to stimulate scholarly debates on both contemporary and historical issues pertinent to this diverse region, promoting the advancement of Armenian and Regional Studies within the humanities and social sciences. The journal's inclusive approach encourages a variety of perspectives, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the area's complexities.
Analytical Bulletin publishes original research articles, review articles, research notes, policy discussions, and book reviews, welcoming contributions from a broad range of disciplines.
Current Issue
The 19th issue of the Analytical Bulletin includes two research articles, one research note, and three book reviews. This issue continues to focus on the Caucasus and the Middle East, providing critical examinations of social, cultural, religious, and political aspects in these regions. The research articles engage with both contemporary and historical topics, aiming to foster discussions and provide in-depth analysis of current issues.
