ԱՄՆ-ի արձագանքը «Արաբական գարնանը»
Abstract
2011 թ. սկիզբը Մերձավոր Արևելքում նշանավորվեց քաղաքական անհանգստությունների և փոփոխությունների մեծ ալիքով, որը սկիզբ առավ Թունիսում` տարածվելով դեպի Եգիպտոս, Լիբիա, Սիրիա և տարածաշրջանի այլ երկրներ: Այս իրադարձությունները հայտնի են «Արաբական գարուն» անվանումով: Բողոքի ցույցերն ուղղված էին գործող իշխանությունների դեմ: Ցուցարարները պահանջում էին նոր և արդար իշխանություն, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանություն, արժանավայել կյանք: Արաբական երկրներում տեղի ունեցող իրադարձությունների պայմաններում, սեփական տնտեսական, քաղաքական, ինչպես նաև ռազմավարական շահերը հաշվի առնելով‚ ԱՄՆ-ը չէր կարող չեզոք քաղաքականություն վարել տարածաշրջանում: Ուսումնասիրելով պաշտոնական Վաշինգթոնի, իսկ մասնավորապես, նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի և պետքարտուղար Հիլարի Քլինթոնի կողմից հնչեցված հայտարարությունները` հասկանալի է դառնում, որ ԱՄՆ-ի ներգրավվածությունը «Արաբական գարնան» գործընթացներում առնչվում է հետևյալ բնագավառներին.
- մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանություն,
- ժողովրդավարական կարգերի հաստատում,
- ազատ համագործակցության գոտու ստեղծում:
