Abstract

The adoption of terrorist organizations lists by different states and international organizations is one of the counterterrorism tools. The listings highlight the overall security interests, priorities, outlook of particular countries and international organizations, as well as their own perceptions of national, regional and international security.

The article examines the terrorist lists of EU, UN, RF and USA according to their official documents and highlights the commonalities, differencеs and overlaps in those lists.
