About the Journal
Analytical Bulletin of Armenian and Regional Studies (ABARS, Arm. Վերլուծական տեղեկագիր հայագիտության և տարածաշրջանագիտության) is a biannual academic journal dedicated to critically analyzing the social, cultural, religious, and political dynamics of the three seas’ mega-region, i.e. the Mediterranean, Black, and Caspian seas.
Analytical Bulletin aims to stimulate scholarly debates on both contemporary and historical issues pertinent to this diverse region, promoting the advancement of Armenian and Regional Studies within the humanities and social sciences. The journal's inclusive approach encourages a variety of perspectives, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the area's complexities.
Analytical Bulletin publishes original research articles, review articles, research notes, policy discussions, and book reviews, welcoming contributions from a broad range of disciplines.
Current Issue
The 20th issue of the Analytical Bulletin continues to highlight new scholarship on the Caucasus and the Middle East, offering in-depth perspectives on the region’s social, cultural, religious, and political transformations. The contributions in this issue explore both historical and contemporary dynamics, fostering dialogue across disciplines and encouraging critical engagement with current debates in regional and global contexts.
